Hello,

In Magma, after routing I observed lots of metal 1 shorts and spacing errors. Upon investigation, found that most of the drcs were because of the cells which were supposed to be hidden due to drc errors in the library preparation stage. [run prepare routability had given drc errors for those cells] Any way to eliminate these now since its not possible to do everything from the scratch??? please let me know

thanks in advance

The best solution is to re-implement the design after force hiding those cells.

But you can try this,
1. Load in the volcano and generate the list of cells which has the DRC violations.
2. clear readonly the library
3. Force hide all the cells with DRC violations in the library.
4. force readonly the library.
5. run gate unsize $m
6. run gate size
7. fix opt global
8. fix opt final

Hope this works.

hi,

wat is the procedure to identify cells with drc violations in magma blast fusion?

"run prepare routability" should help you to identify cells which have problem with the pin access problem ( leading to DRC violations when used in design)

during library prepration stage, 'run prepare routability' would give results of cells which have DRC violation.
