possible to use this v-i tracer circuit on ic ??

if i build this simple v-i tracer circuit found at
Voltage-Current(V/I) Curve Tracer | Circuit Diagram
and attach this to a oscilloscope,
and use the test probes on some ic , so would i get v-i traces of the ic pins the similar way they have shown in the same page for transistors, doides etc?

As the name states this is a plot of voltage against current. The testing will be limited to passive components and a single semi-conductor junction like a diode, or the base emitter junction on a BJT. It is not an generic IC tester

oh ok, my hopes dropped...but thanks
but is there any project possible for ic testing?
