Porting From Unix to Linux -- Cadence IC5033

Hello, would like to find out if I am working on a design at work and I would like to port the design to and fro from home, what should be done. I am currently running IC5033. Please advise??
 

When i port over from Sun to Linux i just copy the dir the design is in and the dir that the technology files are in.. thats it.. then i just run layoutPlus from in the design dir.. just make sure that you get ALL the files.. including hidden..
