poly resistors W and L

Hi friends,
What do you think happens with a poly resistor if it´s width larger than length?

poly resistors W and L

Nothing special. What are you expecting?

poly resistors W and L

a big W>L resistor is like some W<L resistors paralleled, which means u use a bigger space only create a smaller resistor. seems meaningless to me

poly resistors W and L

I am worried because in the specification on a process is often recommended to use minimum L/W = 5 or 2 (it depends on a particular resistor)

poly resistors W and L

That is probably more about either endcap / contact resistance
model fidelity. The foundry modeling or design kit notes
may give you hints to the reasoning.
