polarized capacitor hspice

Hi,

Does anybody know the hspice command for a polarized capacitor? I was trying to model a valley fill circuit and a full wave rectifier, and the capacitor I used does not work. I just used C (ex. c1 node1 node2 33uF). It is becuase the default capacitor has no polarity. Please help.

No, polarity shouldn't matter. But may be the C-model is missing? At least with Spectre, the syntax is:
Cnumber (+node -node) C-model C-value
i.e. in your example:
c1 node1 node2 capacitor 33uF
... where capacitor is the appropriate C-model.

Hi Andrew, that took quite a while! :D
