Polarization Measurement

How should I conduct a polarization test? What will be the expected result? I will get the different polarization of the shape of "8"? or should I get an elliptical shape? How can I get the elliptical shape?

Polarization Measurement

You measure the mag and phase of the 2 main polarization.

Re: Polarization Measurement

If I measure the 2 main polarization, the result I am getting is the different polarization of the "8" shape? One is horizontally polarized and one is vertically polarized?

Polarization Measurement

Different type of polarizarion are :
1) Linear - Vertical or Horizontal
2) Circular - Vertical and Horizontal equal mag but 90 deg out of phase
3) Elliptical - Vertical and Horizontal not equal mag and out of phase.

Please explain the figure 8 polarization ? Are you trying to measure a dipole ?
