What is the difference between NMOS current mirror and PMOS current mirror in terms of performance and which one is preferred for a wide swing folded cascode amplifier and why?
 

Well there isn't really a difference in mirroring performance, they will both mirror! The PMOS current mirror will have a larger offset because of the Avt fabrication offset and will have a lower flicker noise.
