PML influencing accuracy?

Low frequencies and small radiating structures made me thinking about setting up a PML-boundary. This can be set very close to the structure as far as i know.
But now I´m wondering if accuracy of calculation is influenced in an unexceptable way...

Any ideas? Thanks for your help
