Hi friends,
I have to communicate with a radio which have SPI interface but my PC doesn't have SPI interface therefore i have decided to accomplish my task by using arduino as a interface between PC and radio. Now i want to send my HEX data serially to arduino, store it then send it to my radio via SPI.

Plz i am a newbie to arduino, plz help.

so what do you want exactly ? what is the help u are expecting ??!!!

my advice start by arduino playground and search for SPI library which is pretty easy to implement using MISO , MOSI ,CLK SS pins , and simply commands like SPI.write ...

for the PC you need a USB to Serial (TTL NOT RS232) converter . and to store data inside arduino you need to look into the internal EEPROM and its required library .

the circuit should be very simple

hope this helps ....

You can look at the USB to serial TTL converter cables from FTDI - there are a variety available with either flying leads, or 2.5mm pitch connectors, and either 3.3V or 5V logic versions.
The drivers for these are readily available and it will oeprate as a virtual COM port on your PC so you can use Hyperterm, PuTTY, or terminal emulator of your choice
