PLL in smartgen catalog

hii, i have installed libero soc v11.8. but smartgen.exe is not getting installed. it is showing an error "as the application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect". what should i do?

I have no idea what might be wrong, but this error almost sounds like you have more than one version of the tools installed. Did you by any chance change the installation directory for the versions and not use the default locations?
