Dear friends,

Please help me choose a quadrature modulator and a quadrature demodulator (IQ modulator, IQ demodulator). Their RF Lo frequency is
70MHz or 140MHz, baseband signal bandwidth should be about 10MHz.

Many companies have IQ modulator or demodulator For example, Mini-circuits' IQ modulator MIQA-70M and Analog Device's IQ demodulator AD8347.

Unfortunatly, MIQA-70M's baseband bandwidth is too narrow (DC-5MHz) and price is too expensive(about 40$ per piece!). AD8347 is not expensive, but it's RF frequency is 0.8-2.7GHz, far above my 70MHz and 140MHz.

thanks for your help!

for the IF frequency up to 140MHz quadrature modulator, I recommend you try AD9777/9778/9779 family DAC, which can be used to produce a High IF signal up to 200MHz. You can implement quadrature modulation in digital domain in FPGA then feed the digital stream into DAC.

For demodulator, you can choose AD8348 which supports a 50MHz-1GHz operating frequency.

thanks, windman
i will try AD9777.
now i am using RF2713, which is a modulator or demodulator from 0.1MHz to 250MHz. the Rf2713 may be the only modulator can support frequency below 50MHz.
