i need your help in designing a dc motor control. the motor should function forward and reverse.

What kind of DC motor? Which voltage and current? Just forward and reverse or variable speed from 0 to 100% or any other range?

Hi, rated_pg

simply You can use a relay with enougth (two) contacts groups to revers voltage polarity from power suplay... if You want to do control using electronic (microcontroler) You must use two relays: one of them can change polarity for DC motor and another is for connecting suplay voltage...

Hi

u can use a H bridge circuit for DC motor control with 2 digital
line.
with this kind of driver u can control direction & motor speed(PWM)
& u can add a brake ,control with this 2 digits

by the way the motor should function forward and reverse the speed is not much of a consideration
