Hello.
CD-ROM's can play Audio CD's without the PC.
If there is not PLAY button on the CD-ROM,it's don't play the CD's.
I have a CD-ROM,but there isn't PLAY button.
How can I play audio CD's with these CD-ROM ?
Making PLAY button or IDE modification.
Maybe one of the IDE pins..........

Thank you.

I don't know much abut this, but I believe the CDROM will start playing the tracks in order after the CD insertion. The second button found on some CDROM units is used to skip a track and start playing the next track.

I think that W/O play button you can send command over ATA cable but I think that will be expensive... Its better that you find CD with play and maybe step F B button.
