Hi,
A small storage bin on our louvred panel in which we store TO220 FETs snapped off the panel and so we need to get another one.
The below says its ESD compliant...

..But its datasheet doesnt detail any markings which may be on it to proove that its ESD compliant.
We dont actually know if the other storage box's that we have are actually made of ESD compliant plastic or not either.
How do we test such a container for ESD compliance?

Presumably you need a low impedance connection to the plastic.....is a good way to do this to use say 10 metal croc clips and short them all together?....and then use that as one of the the probes to connect to the high resistance multimeter?

What reading would be reasonable if the clips were as close as possible to each other but not touching?

HI,

I tend to say: you can see the quality of a product when you read it´s datasheet.
If the datasheet is sloppy and does not tell all important details, then I don´t expect a reliable high quality product.
