Hi,
I am using momentum 2006A in order to simulate a planar spiral inductor with a patterned ground shield. The problem is that I do not fully understand how to insert ground to the shield. I tried to use ground ports but they need to be associated with another port. When I associate them with either of the inductor
input ports, the results of the simulation do not correspond to reality (i.e. the inductor seems to behave like a capacitor at all frequencies).

Can anyone please tell me how to ground the shield?

Thanks in advance,
John

i donot have expeince in this , but try to connect the shield to the ground using via in the substrtae
