Can you please help me with the ADC code for the specified microcontroller? I want to use it for signal aquisition from infrared sensors.

there is a adc code example on this page

2. if you are using mplab for coding, you can go to help, and go to peripherals libraries, there you can find predefined library routines for all the perifs, that your pic has.

3. read the adc section on pic's datasheet.
also read the reference manual number 17, on above mentioned page.
