PIC24FJ128GA010 mcu difference between UART1 and UART2 ?

Hello,

When PIC24FJ128GA010 mcu with explorer 16 board is connected using Mplab ICD 2 to PC COM port for debugging the code,,, which UART should be initialized ? As much I know there are only 2 UARTs in PIC24FJ128GA010 mcu.. Is it true ?? If I connect through UART 1 it is not working.
I want to send a data from MC to PC & vice versa, via RS232..
Which UART is present in COM port of the PC ? Is it should be same UARTs both in PC and MC ?
And how to find the CTS(clear to send) RF12 pin is clear or not ?
Please someone help to understand this concept.
