Hello,
I am doing a project, in which i have to interface a serial camera with PIC18f4550, and in order to store that image i am using 62256 RAM. My problem is that i don't have any circuit diagram to proceed. Can any one please provide me with a circuit diagram explaining how to interface the two chips?
A little guidance regarding programming would also be a great help.

Thanks aloooot in advance.

Hello,

You can use the SPP (Serial Parallel Port of the PIC18F4550) but you need to use some logic.

Here's an example PIC and 62256 SRAM interface:

PIC 16F690 and 62256 32K SRAM

The example incorporates a I/O Expander with a PIC16F690, but you should be able to adapt it to your design.

Source code is also available at the bottom of the project page.

Hope the info helps you in your endeavors.
