PIC16F877A out of RAM eventhough code is not max use?

ram of 16f877a

hi...........
im using pic 16f877a with hi-tech compiler and mplab ide
my code is using 128 bytes of ram
futher if i try to use ram the compiler doesnt allow me to do so inspite of the ic having 368 bytes

please someone help me out

Hmm, what language you wrote in? asm, I'm guessing. You had a problem compiling right?
Send the file, if possible.

i have written the code in c
N i think this problem is solved in ccs c compiler by writing
#device*=16 ...................something like this
but im using hi-tech C compiler and im not able to access full ram.
that is i mean im getting less space for my variables
