Is there a PIC simulation program available? I am specially interested on the PIC16F84 and PIC16F877. Sometimes it's not possible for me to get hold of the test board so I was wondering if is there is a computer simulator program to test the whole thing on my PC.

The Proteus is the best I think...

It depends on what you need to simulate. For the code only, you can simply use the MPLAB IDE, from Microchip. It can help you find most of the bugs.
