Does anyone has a hex for it ?

Thanks

pic programmer hcs512

you can download a FREE pic programmer from www.lancos.com look for a program called "pony prog 2000". this comes highly recommended. the software is also free. you can program more than just PIC chipswith this handy device. check it out.

it simple and easy to build.
and for software you can try this

if you use eagle, i have picstart+ and propic2

download picprog for xp

Hi,

I believe using a loader is better than using a programmer.
Because the setup time is much less, also moving the PIC arround
is not a very good idea if you are developping.

Q: I have the melabs loader V1.0 that I cannot use with the new
A series of PICs such as the 16F876A, can any body help me
with a copy of V2.01 of the same loader ??

Thanks.

Here is firmware and schematic and Windows software available
for PicProg3. They say it is also capable of removing code protection
from PIC16C and PIC16F series micros.

I get the schematic but it is a bit cloudy for me. If do you have
better information (schematic, pcb layout etc.) please let me know.

(a friend of mine has this programmer, I'll visit him to take a look
if you don't have useful material)

Regards.

программатор picprog.exe

Hi,
There is variety of PIC programmers available but I would like to highlight couple of thinks to people do not go in wrong direction:

- OTP microcontrollers slowly goin to be phased out and replaced by FLASH micros.
- OTP micros are right now more expensive than FLASH ones
- FLASH micros give more flexibility - can be re-programmed

- ZIF socket style of programmers are fine for OTP's but not good for FLASH micros.
- It is non-practical to put QFP64 or any other SMD package into any kind of socket and programmed device.

In circuit programming or (with boot loader) programming is todays and near future technology.
Cheers!

cytron pic programmer

ToolKit3 from epe mag a supplement is found in november 2001
and the program can be downloaded from www.epemag.com

Does anyone know a PIC ICSP programmer for the PIC18fxx8 pics?
I would like to design one for programming devices at production.

Thanks a lot,

I use this one: PICPROG v3 from Telesystems. Link is here:

Beside ZIF socket, there is Additional ICSP connector and cable.
I think somewhere i must have schematic.
