PIC I/O EXPANSION HELP

i want to read 16 digital input lines with pic16f628a and i want to use only portb of the microcontroller.guide me to the easiest solution.

74150 is a multiplexer with 16 inputs and 1 output.
It is easy to use.

i have got another idea from my friend he say that i can use two 74hct373 enabling one ic at a time.by this i can read 8 lines at a time.any opinion on this.
