Photos (1) is the waveform of the inverter no-load.

Photos (2) is the waveform of the inverter load.

Hi rashid
is the waveform shown above of the inverter made by you using Mr Taners design without any modifications.if modified kindly post the c code and hex.

That shows that the output voltage drops when the load is applied, did you connect the feed back?

Re: inverter with pic

Hi Taner

I can see your design its good, But you mentioned that secondary volt of Transformer is 8V .so at 500W load current through secondary become 500/8=63A . So loss through MOSFET is I2R .
if you use 12v secondary winding and corresponding changes in other place ,then at 500w current become 500/12=42 so we can reduce the loss. So why don't you use that? is there any problem in my explanation (Am not sure)?

ismail man its 8 volts cz u wll have a good range for the voltage regulation while if it was 12 and the bat is 14 ull only have a range of 14 to 12

Dear all can this inverter be used as gridline inverter rather can it be modified to be used as gridline inverter ?
thanking you in anticipation

Hi unhappy,
for synchronizing to grid a lot more to be done mains to be sampled for zero crossing . and a precision control of o/p voltage is required. i think the entire software may have to be re written for this inverter be used as gridline inverter.

Hi keibow,
Did you give the feed back to the micro properly. i think without a minimum load which the micro senses it goes to standby mode . i read this somewhere on this thread.so check your current feedback.

Hello picgak, today i power my inverter and i get good sinewave output but i dont know why i am getting 4 volt at pin 2?if the voltage at pin 2 is above 3volt their will be no pwm and 50hz signal from the micro therefore i decide to remove the last pin of the op-amp pin 14 which supply signal to pin 2 of the pic which is b/a, then the inverter start to work and secondly the inverter come on for some seconds then goes off and start to send some pulse could that be from the current transformer? moreover what is the main function of this b/a can someone explain please.

Hi keibow,
Did you use the hex (without a/b check) provided by californiajoe in replay no 758. I think that will solve your problem.

Ok guys I just used the hex file post by california Joe #758 and I have no problem with b/a any more it work but i used 1k resistor from pin 2 to ground my only problem now is the inverter on for only 6second and go off the it start to give a pulse,i also cheak the voltage at pin 4 curr_h/l of the micro with 100 watts load and i t was 1.24volt what could be the problem?

Hi keibow,
The inverter checks for a minimum load is available or not during startup if it is not found it will switch itself off. if you already applied the minimum load mentioned some were in this thread and still the problem persists. you have to check the current feedback voltage reaching the micro at the time of initial pulse switch on time.
regards ani

Re: pwm inverter circuits

brother i can't get the appropriate pure sine wave inverter circuit and code , if u kindly mail me (nahideeeaiub@gmail.com) or give me the direct link of that.

Hello everyone today i finished working on my inverter and it works fine, the problem of going off after 6second has been resolved by increasing the current transformer voltage...... thanks for the help render to me by California Joe and pic gak for helping me to complete this inverter.
