Hii all

I'm trying to make a BPSK transceivers, and some friend told me that the receiver need a phase detector.
Where must i put the detector?,and What kind of IC's that i could use to make the detector?,Is it true that Motorolla MC1496 can be made as a phase detector?

thanks

phase detector ic

MC1496 can be used as a Product detector, AM detector, FM and Phase detector and also as a modulator:
**broken link removed**
**broken link removed**
The place of the detector in a receiver system, usually is after the last IF stage.

phase detection am
