PERL FTP: Copying directory from Local to Server

perl ftp copy directory

Hi,

Is it possible to copy directory (folder) from local system to server using NET::FTP? What i know is we can copy a file using "ftp->put", but what about copying the folder directly?

Better to convert folder into a .TAR format and then you can FTP the tar..............
