Dear All,
In my project I am designing the 20A,14.3V forward converter. After calculations the peak current of converter 63A. Please let me know how to calculate the trace width for 63A current carrying net. Trace width calculators are available in internet, but all calculators maximum current range is 35A. Please let me know which standard I should follow, what is formula for trace width of 63A current net.

Hi,
Some idea for the calculable widths...
K.

Otherwise is, I think, the good practicable way to mask the high current lines free over their surface & have hot aire levelled +(or additional) tin for higher conductor cross section...

Hi zorx,
Its a fine (free) tool_tnx for linking! :)
Regards!

HI,
Thanks to karesz and zorx for giving valuable suggestions.
