In my company, We usually use orcad to draw schematic and

generate netlist, then we use PADS to draw pcb, we feel this

combination is very well, each software has its native merit.

best regards

Hi all,

which PCB design software i should prefer of the following:
P*otel, orcad, allegro or PADS.

EMI/EMC, high speed design and new component libraries availibilty are my issues of concern

Thanx.

i am using orcad for schematic entry
pads for library design ,importing netlist ,some placement ,

specctra auto router for placement and routing

bring back design to pads by using specctra translater

generate final gerber in pads

for signal intigrity use cadance hyperlynx ,specctra quest

vij

Cadence allegro is the best choice for U,I think.but to learn is not easy

i think pads to hyperlynx flow is better
