Hi. I'm working on a circuit that radiates a broadband comb with tones from a few GHz to hundreds of GHz. For this, I need to do parasitic inductance extraction from layouts. I am using Calibre for PEX. In the PEX Options>Inductance, there is a checkbox that says 'broadband' and then asks for operating frequency. Could someone kindly explain what that is and how it works?
I set the operating frequency to 200 GHz, but turning on the broadband option significantly affects my results.

I don't use inductance myself, but there is an explanation in "Controlling Inductance Extraction" in the Calibre Interactive User's Manual. Evidently the broadband model uses either the PEX Inductance Frequency... MAXIMUM command (if you also specify a frequency) or PEX Inductance Switch Time (if you specify switch time instead). Those two commands should be described in depth in the SVRF manual (svrf_ur.pdf).
