Hi everybody,

i was working on a layout of a boost converter control
i finished it but now i am trying to calculate the parasitic capacitance of interconnects of power switches
after searching i found that i can do that with software like "Maxwell" or "fastcap"
but i don't now if it possible for MOSFET with large number of fingers

so is there any one now about this

thanks in advance

With which software you made your layout. Maybe this software has the option of parasitic extraction?

Dear johnjoe,

first of all thanks for your quick replay
i used Tanner L-Edit ... but i think that "maxwell" or "fastcap" will be more organized because it will give me a capacitance matrix
but i am afraid that this matrix will be complicated for power switch with number of fingers (M=20000) upper switch and (M=40000) lower switch

Ah ok, sorry but in this case a can't help you. Maybe ask in "ASIC Design Methodologies and Tools (Digital)".
