Parallel Port Programing in Java

Dear Friends,
I was able to interface a micro-controller on a serial port. Now I wanted to do it using parallel port. I used event based reading of the serial port. I am using the RXTXComm jar file. In what ways can I send and receive data on parallel port?
I have successfully opened the port.
