Hi members,

i need to know is the PAPR means a measure for the spectrum flatness?

thank you

any help please?

I do not understand the question.

PAPR is measured in time domain.

PAPR=(max(s))^2/E( (s)^2 )

Spectrum flatness does not depend from PAPR.

do you have more explanations

thanks

Can you ask a question otherwise, more clearly?

what is the spectrum flatness?

thanks

equality of the power spectral subbands?

is there any relation between the spectrum flatness and the PAPR?

I think there are examples of systems with the same spectrum flatness but different PAPR. If your question concerns a specific area then I do not know the answer.

ok friend,

that is good i will check on google to see a similar things.

regards

Spectral flatness characterises an audio spectrum. The spectrum of a system reveals the presence or abscence of certain frequencies while the PAPR (a problem common to OFDM systems) gives a measure of howmuch the signal is into the non-linear region of the Power amplifier and can generare out of bound energy (spectral regrowth) and inband distortion.
