When copying a board or sub set I had been plagued with missing GND connections to a copper pour. Yesterday this happened again and a connector would not copy. I found that the part was set to GLUED. Un-glue solved this. To get the ground connections to copy I had to go to Cntrl-ald-N and set the GND net to show connections.
Also be aware that to copy a copper pour, make sure that pour-outline is displayed and not the copper-pour.
