Panel to be exported to ODB++:
Embedded Array.png

ODB++ settings before export:
odb setup.png

At end of export, this selection pops up:
Steps table.png

It show 4 different items i can select, either one of the three pcbs that are placed (I arrayed 3 different pcbs twice, total=six pcbs)

It only allows me to select one of the items, I cant highlight all of them. When i select any of the first three items it will give me the odb of that single pcb, as such:
Single exported odb.png

If I select the last item "panel" i get this odb:
Panel odb.png

I'm not sure how to get the ODB++ of the entire array. I can get the individual ODB's but that defeats the whole purpose of creating the array. If anyone can explain how to get the whole array to output in one odb I would be grateful.

Thanks. :)

Apparently you are asking about handling of a software with panelization option. But you didn't even mention which tool it is.

For the time being, I assume that the problem is brought up by the way you created the panel. You may want to check if other output formats (e.g. extended gerber) show the same problem.

Yes sorry, the software is Altium 2014. I will try other output methods

Are you outputting from Altiums PCB layout interface?
Generally you output 1 PCB image in Gerber or ODB++ and panelise it in the front end software such as CAM350. This is how it works in most packages...

Panelizing in cam would most likely work. There is an option in the PCB layout interface to array/panelize a board and I thought that would output the full ODB++ from every board in the panel. Instead you have to choose which individual board to output from the panel, instead of the entire panel.

There was a workaround that may work but havent determined if it has yet. I can output a panelized gerber first than get the odb from that. But the output files look differently than what im used to outputting.
