Hi everyone,

I'm considering a GPS patch antenna with a 4dBi gain (zenith) and a 20MHz bandwidth. What should I consider for gain outside of this bandwidth? Is the attenuation important at let's say 1GHz or 500MHz?

Thanx in advance

Re: Outband GPS fix antenna gain?

Simply feed through some bandpass filter and do not worry about the radiation at 1GHz or 500MHz.

Patch Antenna: Phase Centre and Group delay

Excuse me,

in your antenna design, did u consider the antenna phase centre and the group delay?

they have too a strong impact on the overall performance.
