what kind of prog is there to show the spectrum of music file in a player window.

i dont exactly know what U want, but i say my idea
ffdshow is an audio/video codec that hv great features such as FIR filter by that u can filter yr audio. in its window, there is an option, named "show spectrum" that shows audio spectrum
u can dwnld it from **broken link removed**
other way is using MATLAB
with it u can use fft command and plot spectrum of WAVE(.wav) files

Try with Wavetools 1.0, In the demo version its possible. Or DSSF3 Realtime Analyzer.
