orcad parameter operation

Some one told me that lin0/sat1 parameter tells the operation region of the mosfet; linear or saturation.

1. is that true??
2. If it is true I always get a value of -1.00E00, what does it mean??!!

If any one have a description to all output file parameters please upload it.

Help, please...

lin0/sat1

I heared that also ..
Assume it is wrong can't we invent an automated method to check for every MOSFET whether it is saturation or linear (triode).. I don't know exactly how but i am thinking that it can be done by making a small Matlab funciton that reads the output file or even the part that describes bias (Vgs, Vth, and Vds for each MOSFET) then make small calculation for each one making the suitable decision that the MOSFET is Linear if Vds<Vgs-Vth and it's saturation if Vds≥Vgs-Vth..

I hope you can get it and can give help..
Thank you very much..
Note it is now mainly Matlab problem now!
