Orcad or PCAD which is the best

orcad schematic to pcad layout

i have a chance to have a course in PCAD or ORCAD ..
what do you suggest
which is the best tool

Orcad is good...

And if you want to handle PCB then use POWERPCB than PCAD.

Best or good cad does not exist.

My points are as follows
- Tool is prooved ?
- What is spread in field broadly.
- Tool chain

Many people use orcad.
---> You can save time to make library.
Because the possiblity is vey high to get similiar schematic file.
(just modify....)

If you want to import PCB net.
---> Your choice is orcad or native schemati program.
example : powerlogic and powerpcb
orcad capture and orcad layout
Many people say PCAD pcb is good.
But tool is tool. my friend has used orcad pcb. He has not any problem.
I use powerpcb and also no problem
If you use pcad then it will be your choice.

Select one and try it, no more thinking.

IMHO, orcad is fully integrated tools, but both orcad and pcad are not evolutionaly systems - Caddence have allegro, altium have protel - this products more progressive...
