OrCAD Layout : Back Annotation Problem After Unit Conversion

Hello everybody !

At first, sorry for my poor english (I'm french)...

I'm an OrCAD user (Capture and Layout V10.5) and I have the following problem.

I had to convert a layout from imperial unit system to metric unit system. But it's now impossible to proceed on a back annotation. Indeed, I get the following warning message : "Capture is expecting english units. Please convert Board."

Can anybody tell me what to do ?

Have you tried to save in Imperial and do back annotation?

Hi Majnoon !

Thank you for your answer.

I worked originally, in Imperial unit system and both designs, Capture and Layout were perfectly synchronized.
I just did the conversion because of accuracy reasons (rounding problems) caused each time I generated a new netlist.

Any solution for me ?

Change unit in ORCAD schematic again and generate a new netlist for Layout.
May it will work?
Take your layout file backup before preceding

Hi MAK-1 and thank you for answering !

What do you mean with "...Change unit in ORCAD schematic..."?
Is it the "User Properties are in Inches/milimeters" option while creating the netlist?
I already tried this possibility, it does'nt work...

Maybe another idea ? ;-)
