Orcad capture problem

if in my schematic page I have nets with the same name , but in a different page and without offpage connector . when I'll deliver it to layout , will all the nets with the same name be connected ?

another issue - what are the differences between the different PCB footprints of simple components ( resistors , capacitors etc.)

1) you need to connect using off page connectors to connect the nets.
2) you need to go through the IPC7351 SMD footprint standards to understand the different footprints.
