What is the difference between opto isolator and a digital isolator?...Where we are using these?...Is it need to use both ??
 

A digital isolator is a fast coupler (usually > 1 Mbps) with logic output, it can use different technologies, e.g. optical, capacitive, inductive, magnetic.
