can anyone help me out with the circuit diagram for IR photodiode one one side of a rotating disc with holes and IR LED on the other side. maximum of 5 volt supply available and ther shud be proper voltage difernce between the holes present between the 2 opto devices n wen holes absent.
plz can anyone help me out with it..
your language is very poor please write full words. then many intelligent engineers and techies are here to help you. In a very reputed forum like edaboard shortcuts and shortforms are not entertained..
i am lookin for a practical circuit for measuring speed of a rotating disc. the disc is having holes on it and by placing IR LED and IR photo diode on the either side of the disc. by doing so i can count the pulses. the thing i want is a practical circuit connected to these sensor diode by which i can get +5 v ( when two photo sensors look towards each other through the hole present on the dics ) and 0 v otherwise.
i hope i m clear now with my requirements. can anyone please help me out with this.
your just buy slotter optocoupler sensor which give 0v or 5v...you need no extra circuit.. if you are using sensor with open collector, just add pull up resistor..then you can connect output of that sensor direct to your controller pin...it easy....
