hspice optimization

Hi, All:

I wonder if anyone ever used the optimization capabilities in HSPICE to design, say a typical OTA for its targeted spec, gain, BW, voltage swing, noise, power, etc., From what I read from the manual, it seems quite capable, but can anyone share their real life experience, do's and don'ts. Thanks.
