Optical amplifiers [Help required]

Dear all,
Please help me. I need to ask that in optical fibre communication, which optical amplifier is the best from the three mentioned below.


1) Power amplifier
2) line amplifier
3) Booster amplifier.


Waiting for your reply. Please help me.
 

The three options mentioned are rather generic terms, not really specific to the optical designspace. Generally, you want a repeater, when you talk fiber optics. These devices will "square-up" the pulses, and increase the signal amplitude for the following run of fiber. Thannara's comment about EDFA's is spot on; they are very commonly used devices for repeaters.
