Opinions on Murata ENC-03M Gyroscope

Hi All,

Has anyone built up a circuit using the murata ENC-03M gyro?
I'm interested in it's performance...

Also would someone be able to suggest where to buy them?

I am not sure where to buy the Murata sensor but, I just bought a wireless presentation mouse off ebay for $ 20. These have 2 gyro sensors in them, see their website at

Can you tell me how responsive it is compared to a 'normal' mouse?

The mouse is pretty responsive I would say about as good as an optical mouse, I actually bought it to tear out the gyros and use them in a gyrobot see

That robot uses a pretty expensive gyro and I am hoping I can use the piezo gyro from the mouse to achieve a similar result. I have'nt opened the mouse yet but plan on doing it soon, so will keep you posted
