Opening GPRS TCP I/P connection using Motorola G20 modem

Hi

I am using Motorola G20 modem. In that i ma trying to open a GPRS TCP I/P connection but i am unable to open it.

The AT comands i followed is
AT+CGATT=1
AT+CGDCONT= 1,"IP","APN","static i/p address"\r\n"
AT+MIPOPEN
at+MIPCALL=1

I am getting No carrier.error when i give MIPCALL.

Not sure whether my sequence is right or not.

The sim card was able to open a GPRS connection from other modems.

Please help me in resolving this error.

This is the first time working with G20 Modem.
