site:edaboard.com ofdm ber

i had plotted two ber curve for different subcarriers......

1) the ber curve move to left when i increase the no. of subcarriers.
2) the ber curve move to right when i increase the no. of subcarriers.

i just confuse....which one is the correct one? increasing in no. of subcarrier would definitely causing ICI to increase....so is that causing the 1) correct?

or...?

Added after 1 hours 57 minutes:

or increase no. of subcarrier will improve the SNR?

Re: OFDM- increase subcarriers will produce a better BER cur

changing the number of subcarriers may incur a difference in the symbol duration. therefore, the configuration with a longer symbol duration has a higher SNR.
