Obtaining two phases from oscillator by an inverter ?

Oscillator 2 phases

without having differential oscillators; if have available a ring oscillator single-ended and need 2 phases (180deg between them), is it feasible and correct to connect an inverter to obtain these two signals ?

You will get almost 180 degrees phase difference. The error is from the delay time through the inverter. You can use specialized circuits, like a comparator with dual Q and Qnot outputs to get less phase error.

thanks, you have an example or reference of comparator with dual-Q ?

The LM361 comes to mind. You can search the selector tabulated data at most IC company web sites. Dual ouptut is the feature to look for.

is there some CMOS topology to simulate ?
