Hi
I read some papers that model the 802.11(e) mac layer using markov chain and they obtain some fotmula for throughput and delay . after that, they use some numerical analysis to validate their models. But unfortunately, they didn't explain the numerical methods and their way to calculate the results. would you please help me about this matter? I want to know how I can do numerical analysis to validate a model? what is the initialization parameters?
