hi all

dose any one of you know the Number of the transistors that

can give output of 1&10 Ampere

Re: transistors that

Hello how are you?
Your question is abit wide! What sort of the transistor do you want, PNP or NPN?, for what application? small signal or power transistor?
to give you a few of them:
BUY82- small signal NPN Imax=10A
TIP34A-power transistor PNP

To get all the transistors check on the RS data book!

Re: transistors that

I need two transistors PNP an NPN

i need them for power applicatipns

to amplify larg signal to make it sufficient to drive some of stepper motors

and can drive large flux from 70mH coil

thanks alot for your interest

Re: transistors that

no one know the No of transistors

is it what you mean: a transistor with Ic(max) of 1Ampere/10Ampere?

Re: transistors that

I think there's no one transistor that can give directly 10 Amps, but some transistors (power transistors) may give outputs larger than 1 Amp, using some of them depending in the topology used you may get the required 10 Amps,

I hope that helped :)

Re: transistors that

deer banh
i ment by 1&10 A that i need two types of transistors NPN&PNP
one its Icmax is 1A and the other one is 10A
i found one can do this but
it can't operates at 200KHz
so i will try to make the method that Ahmad said and i will told you[/quote]

Re: transistors that

it worked ahmad
but i have one abdtraction
i should be make a common node for all emitters
i should be make a common node for all bases
i should be make a common node for all collectors
i.e. parallel transistors
as you said

transistors that

oh, perhaps some discrete bipolar deices can help you to do such things. the last notice is valuable. but however you need be cautious that the consequence of temperature increasing due to so large current!

Re: transistors that

yes you are right lianming1
but i think my circuit isn't sensetive for temp. variation
it is some of stepper motors and large inductance
thx for your idea

Re: transistors that

it will help me in designing the circuit to have control on a robot
or what did you mean?
