hi everyone

using the sim900 (R11.0) h/w and AT command set with http i would like to add non standard headers i.e. those not supported by the AT command AT+HTTPPARA (to 'POST' to COSM/pachube, e.g. a required non standard headers is the api key). should i be able to add those headers as part of the message body using AT+HTTPDATA following the normal http request format like this (plain text?):

<header param>: <value>CRLF
<header param>: <value>CRLF
CRLF
<body>

initial testing didn't appear to work.

other examples here use AT TCP related commands to describe the http POST request (request line, headers, content) so i guess that's an alternative

thank you for any help
mike

If you want to send custom header fields you'll have generate the HTTP request on your own: Look at the FAQ titled " How do I make a GPRS connection and send an HTTP Request?" on this page: **broken link removed**
